As a manager or team leader you’re using Luna Park to ensure your people are connecting and building relationships. On the other hand, your schedule is busy and it’s not always convenient for you to attend every Luna Park On Demand game you schedule for the team.
Introducing Shared Venue Control! By sharing control of your venue, you can empower the rest of your team to get a game started in your venue even if you aren’t present.
This is especially ideal for on demand games you schedule in advance. As long as this setting is turned on, your team can join and get started without you even needing to pop in to say “hi!”
Turning the setting on is as simple as going to your Settings page, clicking on My Venue and turning on the “Share Venue Control” toggle. Note: This does not give your team access to any other parts of your account.
When you turn on “Share Venue Control” we slightly change the rules in your venue. Instead of you being the only one who can start the game, the player who arrives first will have that control. If that player has to leave for any reason. The next player who entered the venue will be in control.
If you are attending and are the first one to arrive, you will still be the one in control. But if you leave mid game, the player who joined after you will gain control to choose and start the next game.
One thing to be aware of is that refreshing your browser is considered leaving the venue so when this setting is turned on, if the person in control of the venue refreshes their browser, someone else will be given control.
We hope this makes it easier for you as a leader to keep your teams engaging with Luna Park while also freeing you up to take care of other to-dos on your list when needed.
